What you will do
- Build test strategy per project, sized to its risk
- Write and maintain automated tests for critical paths
- Manual and exploratory testing where automation would cost more than it saves
- Own release testing and the go/no-go call
- Reproduce and triage production issues
- Feed defect patterns back so the same class of bug stops recurring
What we are looking for
- 2+ years in software QA
- Automation experience — Playwright, Cypress or similar
- You test APIs as readily as interfaces
- You write reproduction steps a developer can follow without asking a question
- You judge severity by user impact, not by how easy it was to find
- You're comfortable saying something isn't ready
Nice to have
- Performance and load testing
- CI/CD pipelines
- Accessibility and security testing basics
These are genuinely optional. If you meet most of the core requirements and none of these, we would still like to hear from you.
How we interview
- Intro call, 30 minutes — the role, your questions, what you want next.
- Practical exercise, around 2 hours, done in your own time and paid.
- Technical or craft conversation, 60 minutes — we walk through your exercise together.
- Offer within 3 working days of the last conversation.
We reply to every application, including the ones we decline.
