What you will do

  • Run discovery with clients and their actual users
  • Produce flows, wireframes and interface design through to build-ready
  • Maintain and extend design systems across client projects
  • Work alongside engineers daily, in the same standup
  • Test with real users and change your work when they struggle

What we are looking for

  • 3+ years designing applications, not marketing sites
  • A portfolio showing complex interfaces — data tables, multi-step forms, permissions, states
  • You design the empty, loading and error states, not just the happy path
  • Fluent in Figma with components and variants
  • WCAG AA as a working habit
  • You can defend a decision with a reason, and change it when given a better one

Nice to have

  • Front-end familiarity
  • Design tokens and handoff automation
  • Mobile alongside web

How we interview

  1. Intro call, 30 minutes — the role, your questions, what you want next.
  2. Practical exercise, around 2 hours, done in your own time and paid.
  3. Technical or craft conversation, 60 minutes — we walk through your exercise together.
  4. Offer within 3 working days of the last conversation.
